Are you planning to host an event for Horse Day, coming up on June 3, 2017? If so, be sure to register your event by May 31, 2017 to receive an official Horse Day package full of fun giveaways for your attendees, as well as materials to help promote your event within your community.

Across the country, events and celebrations will take place on June 3 to allow Canadians of all ages and experience levels to honour, discover and explore the equestrian world. This year’s Horse Day will be a special year for the celebration of the horse, as 2017 also marks Canada’s 150th anniversary, as well as the 250th anniversary of horse racing in Canada.

Horse Day events registered by May 31, 2017 will receive the following items, free of charge:

  • Official Horse Day car decal stickers, temporary tattoos and posters outlining the benefits of equestrian participation to distribute to attendees of your event. (See examples in graphic below)
  • A full package of information and resources, including media advisory templates, and a fill-in-the-blank Horse Day event poster to help you promote and advertise your event within your community.
