Equestrian Canada (EC) is now accepting applications from individuals interested in volunteering on EC’s Driving Committee.

The Driving Committee is responsible for defining the mandate of the discipline at the national level of the sport, as well as developing the strategic direction, and supporting programs and services within the discipline to deliver on the mandate. The Committee works in collaboration with the national office staff to ensure the delivery of discipline-specific programs and services, and will be called upon frequently to provide strategic recommendations to the senior management at EC.

Individuals interested in volunteering as a member of the EC Driving Committee are invited to apply. Applications should include:

  • An expression of interest letter
  • A brief bio outlining experience in the driving discipline at the national/international level

Applications can be sent by email to [email protected]. The deadline for applications is Feb. 24, 2017 at 5 p.m. ET.

Applications will be prioritized based upon candidates’ national/international experience and competency in the sport discipline of Drive, as well as gender, regional, technical, and linguistic balance. Applicants must hold a valid EC Sport Licence.
