This week Equestrian Canada has announced that Hamburg based rider Brian Walker will join the line-up for the Nations Cup team at Samorin in August.

For years, Walker has been regarded as one of the best young talents and horseman in the industry. He moved from his base in America to his new yard in Hamburg, and is now competing all around Europe with his ever-evolving string of horses.

Walker will be making his Nations Cup debut alongside his Canadian team mates Francois Lamontagne, Jonathon Millar, Jordan Macpherson and Wesley Newlands. On joining the team Brian said “I have always wanted to have a chance to represent my country. My horse Carlson is on good form and I’m excited that he has enabled me to pursue some of my goals. We will see what Samorin has in store for us and this is hopefully just the beginning.”

The competition will play host to the Nations Cup on Friday September 1st, where 15 teams will compete in a class over two rounds. With 50 years of tradition, the CSIO of Slovakia will represent this prestigious event giving a unique opportunity for the Slovak national team to compete against the best international riders and Nations.
