Equestrian Canada (EC) is pleased to announce that the 2016 EC Annual Report is now available.

The report, entitled “2016: A New Era,” marks the first time in history EC has published exclusively in a digital format to provide a more modern and engaging experience.

Report highlights include an overview of major milestones in 2016, from organizational, technical and marketing stats to sport and industry achievements, as well as details of governance and brand transformations.

EC President, Peggy Hambly explained,“2016 was a transformational year for EC. Not only did the organization undergo a brand refresh, but it also dug deep to clarify its mission and vision with the aim of sharpening EC’s focus and ability to serve equestrian interests in Canada.”

The report was designed by Godzspeed Communications of Ottawa, ON, with a focus on reflecting EC’s evolution into a modern national federation, while maintaining a strong sense of heritage. Subtle and sophisticated animations in the online format help to bring the past year’s accomplishments to life.

“At Godzspeed Communications, we value purpose and legacy in brands,” said Thomas Cumberbatch, CEO and Creative Director of Godzspeed. “We were honoured when EC chose to partner with us to create this year’s annual report. Given our mutual regard for innovation and artistic excellence, we agreed that the community would appreciate a more expressive and immersive experience with this year’s report. This format allows EC to present the data in more ‘human’ ways, with the integration of video and animated infographics.”

EC’s achievements in 2016, as outlined in the annual report, showcase the journey the federation is taking to enhance services, as well as improve the overall experience for competitors and horse enthusiasts alike.

“The 2016 EC Annual Report illustrates EC’s commitment to continual improvement, and engagement and collaboration with the Canadian equestrian community,” said Hambly.
