PASSION FOR ACTION could be named Champion Sprinter in Canada should he win today over Stacked Deck, Commute and others. Ben Hutzel’s homebred has struggled since a great spring but he returns to the Tapeta and has some speed to run at.
CAREN, who is very much in the running for Horse of the Year in Canada, is not resting on her big season as she has been shipped to Kentucky for a very tough edition of the Mrs. revere on the grass. The present of fillies like Harmonize and Hawkmoor make this task for Caren extremely difficult.

The Grade 1 Clark, if won by Are You Kidding Me or Breaking Lucky, could also determine a champion and Horse of the Year honours. Both runners are capable of upsetting this good field which includes Canadian-bred SHAMAN GHOST, the Queen’s Plate winner from last year.
