What a day! I wouldn’t  ever have predicted that our team would come so close to winning the gold medal. I think I can honestly say that there was more positive energy in the Canadian dressage community today – both here in Caledon and across the country – than there has been in a very long time, maybe ever.  Just imagine, three of our team members today scored over 75%, and the lowest score was higher than the highest score in team competition four years ago when Canada won silver in Mexico.

I’m pretty much mental mush by now, so I’m going to call it a day. But I’ll be back on Tuesday (provided I’m not busted for those videos that mysteriously appeared on my Facebook page today), with more from the freestyles, which I am sure are going to be thrilling sport. More goose bumps please!

(I’d like to start a rumour that the video hacker might be back in action with some footage from the freestyles)
