Susie Hutchison sent me a book, which contained the sayings of her long time partner and famous horseman Jimmy Williams:

What is something you have done in your life that you truly regret?
There are no regrets. There are only learning opportunities. You have to take your regrettable experiences – analyze what went wrong, learn from it and move forward.
What is one of your worst habits?
I am a compulsive worker!
Do you have any good luck charms or superstitions that you live by? What?
I have had much good luck and I appreciate and value every bit of it. By the same token, I believe that you make your own luck by hard work and becoming good at what you do.

He is a fan of soft rock and oldies but can be found listening to Blue Rodeo.

When did you start riding and how?
He started at age 10 at Gull Lake, Lacombe, Alberta where he rented a horse from a cowboy at the general store near his cottage. Millar spent the summer riding and helping the cowboy run his business. In the fall, he started lessons from Mrs. Gardiner in Edmonton.
What has been the most embarrassing moment you have had in riding?
There are too many to recount!
