I have learned more from this horse than from any other horse that I have been involved with.
But I own an Off the Track Standardbred who we adopted through OSAS
the got 2 mares that i won my first 2 races on when i started as a jockey :)
but I do own a ott standardbred

I have purchased many. In fact all of horses I have ever purchased have been OTTBs.
he was abandind when it was thought he was to slow. 6months and no ferrier!
They are misinterpreted and over looked. Great horses.
I'm so happy I bought him. He can be a little spirited, but it makes for great stories with friends :D

Would you eat horse meat?

If they can guaranty the horse had a normal healthy life (not locked up in a stable)
never ever ever in my life would i eat horse meat no matter what. even if i was dying.
