Tigger Too Dies at Jersey Fresh CCI3*

US Eventing - The organizing committee of the Jersey Fresh CCI3* regrets to announce the death of David O’Connor’s horse, Tigger Too, ridden by Lauren Kieffer, at Fence 28 on the cross-country course. Lauren was uninjured in the fall. Preliminary necropsy findings on the horse “Tigger Too,” a seventeen-year-old gelding, showed that he passed away from an acute abdominal aortic rupture. Final necropsy results are pending. The FEI investigative panel has been convened to review the facts surrounding the incident, and more information will be released once the investigation is through.
