Jockey Emma-Jayne Wilson, who recently recorded her 1,000th career win, will meet with fans and sign commemorative photos on Sunday, September 23, at Woodbine.
The 31-year-old rider, who will be signing autographs starting at noon on the second floor at the Toronto oval, will cut a ceremonial cake to share with those in attendance.
Wilson’s milestone moment came when she guided D’wildcat Gold ($8.30) to a 2 ¼-length victory in the first race on Sunday, September 16.
