Canadian Eventing rider, Jessica Phoenix of Clarington, Ont. was injured on May 9, 2015 following a rotational fall during the cross-country phase of the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event in Allentown, N.J.

Phoenix’s fall took place at jump six of the CCI 2* division, and resulted in multiple injuries, including, it has been reported, three broken ribs, broken clavicle and broken sacrum. She was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., where she reportedly underwent surgery on her liver and is currently resting and in stable condition.

Her mount, Exultation, an 11-year-old Thoroughbred gelding, was not injured in the fall.
