Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner I’ll Have Another has been sold and will stand stud in Japan, reports the Daily Racing Form. Owner Paul Reddam said he reached an agreement with Shigeyuki Okada’s Big Red Farm on the island of Hokkaido to stand the colt who was retired on June 8th. Financial details were confidential.

I’ll Have Another retired the day before he was scheduled to run in the Belmont in a bid to become racing’s 12th Triple Crown winner. He ended his career with five wins from seven starts.
