As reported by Karen Robinson in her Straight-Up blog yesterday, Eric Lamaze has threatened to stop riding for Canada. He has publicly announced that he will not represent Canada in any team competitions until Equine Canada (EC) takes a more supportive stand and issues a new statement regarding Victor’s disqualification. Robinson also comments on the Globe and Mail’s article, which includes an interview with former EC CEO, Akaash Maharaj.

EC issued this statement on the disqualification of Tiffany Foster’s mount, as the result of a failed hypersensitivity test.
