Less than ten months after hiring new CEO Jean-Christophe Gandubert, Equine Canada is once again without a leader.

Late Tuesday evening, Equine Canada issued a brief statement announcing his departure:
Equine Canada regrets to announce that its Chief Executive Officer Jean-Christophe Gandubert has left Equine Canada.  Equine Canada sincerely thanks Mr. Gandubert for his contributions to the organization and wishes him all the very best in his future endeavours.

Gandubert was hired following the abrupt departure of his predecessor, Akaash Maharaj, in January 2012. The post remained vacant for over a year while EC created a new strategic plan, “One Vision”, which would be the new CEO’s responsibility to implement.

No plans have been announced for his replacement.
