Winsong Farm is VERY pleased to be hosting its 10th Fundraiser!

The 2015 spring fundraisers will be Sunday April 19 and April 26 for Silver Willow Farm Rescue Center. For more information on the Rescue Centre and its owner, Laura McArthur, go to www.silverwillowfarm.com.

The start time here at Winsong Farm is 2:00 with the show running 60 to 90 minutes. The cost: a minimum donation of $10 per person. If you can’t come to the event and would like to make a donation you can send it to: Winnie Stott, 5220 15th Sideroad, King City, Ontario, L7B 1K4. You can make out a cheque or money order to: Silver Willow Farm.

Laura McArthur came to my attention when Sue Parker told me about a draft horse, Barnie, that had just been in a movie. This horse had been rescued a year before by Laura. In April 2014 there was an article in the magazine, Horse Canada, about Laura and Barnie. Below is a short video of Barnie, who had severe hind-end damage, but has healed very well.

Email me at winsong.farm@routcom.com to make a reservation for the fundraiser.
