Do you have a favorite author? Who?
John Grisham - I really like all kinds of writing.
Do you watch a lot of television? Do you have any shows that you can’t go without?
No. Charmed and Will & Grace - they are my favourites.
What mentors do you have, in and outside of the equestrian industry?
Ian Millar, Eric Lamaze, Tim Grubb and Katie Prudent - inside the industry. Berta Kusminsky - a woman with great wisdom and compassion - outside industry.
What kind of car do you drive?
Recently got a car, 4 door Pontiac
If you were an animal, what animal would you be? Why?
Horseshow dog - they go everywhere, sleep in beds and are given lots of yummy morsels.
If you could ride anyone else’s horse, which one would you choose?
Calvaro V - Willie Mellinger’s horse. He is my favorite
What was the most memorable/important horse show moment to you? Why?
Individual day (Sunday) at the North American Young Riders Championships - when they only had one senior team. I was riding my quarter horse, Braveheart. It was the highest that either of us had ever jumped. He was incredible. He won the class and he just stood there, parked. I owe him so much, he moved me up to the open division. He is retired now and lives with the broodmares - pretends to be a stallion and guards his women.

What is the funniest experience you have had with a fan?
I signed someone’s shirt with a permanent marker and it went through to their skin and made a big mess.
If you could be granted one wish what would it be that you would wish for?
Continued good health.
What is your favorite quote and who said it?
"Don’t fix it, if it’s not broken" From my father.
Did you go to university/college? If so, what for? If not, do you regret not going? Why?
Just graduated from high school this summer - plan to attend college on line.
What is one of your worst habits?
Drink too much Diet Pepsi, procrastinate and bite my fingernails.
What is one item that you cannot leave home without?
My Diet Pepsi , my cell phone (it gives me comfort) and TOM.
Do you have a dog or cat? What kind? Do they go to horse shows with you?
Two dogs for me personally - Cashew and Pecan, both Jack Russell Terriers. They go to most shows. Although Cashew was very sick for a while, had surgery and is much better now. She only weighs six pounds.
Do you have a favorite type of music and favorite band?
Pop and Dance, Celine Dion
If someone ran into you on the street, what kind of clothes would you be wearing?
Mini skirt, clog shoes, short shirt - all items probably too small, except the shoes.
When did you start riding and how?
4-5, lead line, short stirrups - fell off four times the first time I cantered. Darryl Pirtle Portella got on my pony with me and taught me about cantering. She was always very understanding.
What has been the most embarrassing moment you have had in riding?
I jumped fence #11 instead of #1 for the first round. Also, I went off course at the last jump in a section II class at Spruce Meadows on Tigger with a clear round.
Which talent (un-horsey) would you most like to have?
Singing and writing are very much preferred and interesting to me.
