Personnel changes in Woodbine Entertainment Group’s Thoroughbred Racing Operations

Toronto, ON - Woodbine Entertainment Group (WEG) today announced personnel changes in its Thoroughbred Racing Operations. Steve Koch has been promoted to Vice President of Thoroughbred Racing. Koch was Woodbine’s Director of Thoroughbred Racing since 2006. Koch completed his M.S. Ag/Applied Economics at the University of Kentucky in December, 2002 and has been at WEG since April, 2003.  Koch previously worked for Keeneland and Claiborne Farm. Koch immediately promoted Steve Lym to the position of Director of Racing.  In addition to his duties as Racing Secretary, Lym assumes responsibility for the Stall Office and Stable Area Operations. Karl Lagerborg was promoted to Manager of Stable Area Operations, while Gino Gaetan was promoted to Senior Manager of Stable Maintenance.
